Arden Andersen is a unique professional having a broad science educational background first in agriculture and biological/holistic farm management and then in medicine.  He was a farm consultant in soil and plant nutrition for 7 years before entering medical school.  He then practiced medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan in one of the largest holistic medicine practice in Michigan while also completing aerospace medicine training in the Air Force Reserves.  He was activated after 911 for nearly 2 years and the went back to civilian practice and agricultural consulting around the world. Most recently he completed a masters of science in public health at the University of South Florida and continues to consult internationally in health, wellness and agriculture.  He has authored several books including Real Medicine, Real Health; Science In Agriculture; The Anatomy of Life and Energy In Agriculture; several video courses and numerous lectures, articles and papers.  While most professionals focus on a profession and recreationally dable in others, Dr. Andersen maintains competency in many areas bringing together, holistically, all aspects of life, health, wellness and our environment.  He is a physician that understands the operations of the military; a physician that knows how to weld, milk cows and bale hay as well as how to fertilizer soil to produce maximum yields and nutrient quality; he is a physician that understands worker and environmental safety, industrial hygeine and health via his residency training in occupational and environmental medicine; he is a physician who has addressed foreign diplomats and parlamentary committees about the science and means for feeding the world, sustainably, cleaning up the environment and feeding the burgeoning world population; he is a physician who appreciates language and cultural diversity having been an enchange student and traveled, professiionally, around the world over a dozen times.  Dr. Andersen is medical director of Crossroads Healing Arts, Goshen, Indiana.  Appointments can be made by calling 574-875-4227.
